Cover to Cover: 2024 Reading Challenge
Adults and Teens in Tuscarawas County are encouraged to participate in the County Library’s Cover to Cover Reading Challenge. Participants are challenged to read 20 different books from specific genres throughout 2024. Those who complete the challenge will receive a free umbrella inscribed with the words “I’d Rather Be Reading.”

Interested participants can download the Beanstack Tracker app on any smartphone or tablet or visit tusclibrary.beanstack.org on the web. A paper version of the challenge will also be offered in the latest edition of Between the Lines – the library programming newsletter is delivered by mail to homes within the Library’s service district in Tuscarawas County.

Bringing the library to you! Take home books, DVDs, games, and more. Grab a take-and-make craft, and sign up for a library card. Register for programs and connect with staff. To request a Pop-Up Library near you or to make hold requests, please call 330-364-4474 ext. 250. (Be sure to let them know which Pop-Up Library stop you would like your items to be delivered to.)

Join local actor and historian Chris Hart as he presents Betsy Ross - Her True Colors. Hart will portray Rosss third husband John Claypoole. 

We all know that Betsy Ross is credited with sewing the first American Flag. But did you know she had three husbands, was a Quaker by birth, and liked snuff? And what about that famous meeting with General Washington? Join Husband #3, John Claypoole, as he recounts all this and more.
