Cover to Cover: 2024 Reading Challenge
Adults and Teens in Tuscarawas County are encouraged to participate in the County Library’s Cover to Cover Reading Challenge. Participants are challenged to read 20 different books from specific genres throughout 2024. Those who complete the challenge will receive a free umbrella inscribed with the words “I’d Rather Be Reading.”

Interested participants can download the Beanstack Tracker app on any smartphone or tablet or visit tusclibrary.beanstack.org on the web. A paper version of the challenge will also be offered in the latest edition of Between the Lines – the library programming newsletter is delivered by mail to homes within the Library’s service district in Tuscarawas County.

The New Philadelphia Friends of the Library are hosting their annual Garden Tour fundraiser on Saturday, July 13th from 9:00 AM 3:00 PM. Tickets for the self-guided tour, which includes six gardens in and around Tuscarawas County.

This years tour will focus on gardens in southern Tuscarawas County, said Friends President Candy Beaber. The proceeds from the Garden Tour will benefit the Tuscarawas County Library Foundation; last years garden tour raised over $2,000 for the library foundation.
