Adults and Teens in Tuscarawas County are encouraged to participate in the County Library’s Cover to Cover Reading Challenge. Participants are challenged to read 20 different books from specific genres throughout 2024. Those who complete the challenge will receive a free umbrella inscribed with the words “I’d Rather Be Reading.”

Interested participants can download the Beanstack Tracker app on any smartphone or tablet or visit tusclibrary.beanstack.org on the web. Weis will discuss his book This Is Gonna Hurt, detailing his journey hiking over 7,000 miles in a year through multiple trails. Weis completed The Calendar Year Triple Crown (hiking the Appalachian Trail, Pacific Crest Trail, and Continental Divide Trail in the same year) an achievement considered rare, likened to walking on the moon. The event includes a presentation, Q&A, and book sales/signing.
