Lets step outside and enjoy some nature fun, by creating miniature libraries with twigs and leaves to share with the animals.

Weis will discuss his book This Is Gonna Hurt, detailing his journey hiking over 7,000 miles in a year through multiple trails. Despite challenges, he found the experience rewarding and met memorable characters. Weis completed The Calendar Year Triple Crown (hiking the Appalachian Trail, Pacific Crest Trail, and Continental Divide Trail in the same year) an achievement considered rare, likened to walking on the moon. The event includes a presentation, Q&A, and book sales/signing.

Children will learn about artists influence, reinterpret art using different techniques and mediums, and have their work displayed in the Library.

Listen to a few chapters of a story while eating a provided lunch. By the end of the summer, well have read an entire book together. Parents should drop children off.
