Are you looking for ways to trim your budget and stretch your household income? The Tuscarawas County Public Library System has a budget-conscious program series that can help you save on streaming services, meal prep, travel, and more.
Programs will be held at the Main Library in New Philadelphia with the final program being offered at the Tuscarawas Branch in Tusky.
- Free Streaming with Library Apps on Tuesday, January 14th at 12:00 PM; Thursday, March 6th at 12:00 PM; and Tuesday, April 22nd at 12:00 PM
The library apps give you access to more than just ebooks. Learn how to stream movies, take guitar lessons, read magazines, and more for free with your library card! Bring your device to follow along. Limit: 8 per session

- Savvy Shopper on Monday, January 27th at 6:30 PM
Joe Daugirdas, aka Joe the Coupon Guy, has been honing his shopping skills in Northeast Ohio for many years. He typically saves 70% to 80% on groceries and over 90% on toiletries. Joe will share money-saving tips for restaurants, utilities, cell/smart phones, travel, gas, prescriptions, clothes and much more.

Learn how to travel affordably. Joe Daugirdas will share tips and tricks to travel affordably, including how to find the best deals on car rentals, flights, cruises, lodging, and transportation, as well as entertainment and restaurants at your destination.

Learn about streaming services and how to connect these services to your TV. Limit: 40 per session
- Thrifting 101 at the Tusky Branch on Tuesday, April 15th at 6:00 PM
Learn about local thrift stores and how thrifting can save you money. Limit: 15
