Murder Mystery Dinner a Friends of the Library - NP Fundraiser. Tickets are available now at the Main Library only. Tickets are $50 each. This event has limited seating and only 48 tickets are available. Doors will open 30 minutes prior to the show's start.
Old Town Public Library is set to host a book launch of noted detective novelist and local author, Richard Mann, and head librarian, Paige Turner, has warned all of her staff to be on their best behavior. She may be able to control her employees, but there are others coming who may cause trouble and she is not about to let that happen! When tragedy inevitably strikes, the police are called immediately, and the guests are warned to stay put until the authorities arrive. In the meantime, they set about trying to solve the case and exonerate their names. What guilty secrets are people hiding, who would resort to murder to keep those secrets hidden, and most importantly, can the killer be brought to justice?
The menu includes baked chicken, roast beef, parsley potatoes, alfredo, green beans, broccoli salad, seven-layer salad, rolls, drinks, and desserts.
