The New Philadelphia Friends of the Library Board meets on the second Tuesday of each month at 10:30 AM in the meeting room at the main library.
How do the New Philadelphia Friends support the Library?
The New Philadelphia Friends have supported programs at the Library such as:
  • Sponsoring author visits and other programs for adults
  • Sponsoring and providing refreshments for children’s and adult programs
  • Providing physical items such as folding chairs, book racks, and other smaller items that are needed but not in the Library budget
How much does it cost to become a Friend at the New Philadelphia location?
Membership dues are for the calendar year running from January through December.
The annual fee structure is as follows:
Seniors (60+)/Students: $5.00
Individual: $10.00
Family: $15.00
Sponsor: $25.00
Patron: $50
Benefactor: $100
Lifetime: $150
Corporate: $250+

What volunteer opportunities are available for New Philadelphia Friends?
New Philadelphia Friends help out with events such as book sales, author visits, open houses, and fundraising drives. Volunteers also donate their time to assist library staff with various duties within the library itself.
