More Information
Once your item has been designed, a 3D Printing Request Form will need to be filled out and submitted to library staff. Staff will print 3D items in the order in which it was received. You will be contacted by library staff when your 3D print is ready for pickup.
To start designing your own objects, TinkerCAD is popular web-based software that will save your objects in the proper file formats. Tutorials are available from the TinkerCAD website. 3DSlash is another web-based option that you can use to create objects. Tutorials are available from the 3DSlash website. Object files can be converted using the Cube software on the MakerSpace computer.
