TCPL Guide to Planned Giving

There are many ways to contribute to the Tuscarawas County Public Library Foundation.


Monetary Gifts:
Cash contributions are a quick and easy way to show support for the Tuscarawas County Public Library System. 
Donor Wall gift amounts are as followed: Bronze Book - $250, Silver Book - $500, Gold Book -$1,000+.

Bequests by Will or Trust:
The simplest way to make a lasting gift to the causes that are important to you during your lifetime is to make a bequest through your will or trust. The bequest can be for a specific dollar amount, a percentage of your estate, or residue of the estate.

Gifts of Real Estate:
Your contribution of real estate, such as personal residence, farm, vacation home, commercial real estate, or vacant land, is a wonderful gift that could have income and capital gains tax advantage.

Gifts of Life Insurance:
Naming the Tuscarawas County Public Library Foundation as a beneficiary of your life insurance policy, you can make a much larger gift than what you possibly could make during your lifetime.

Gifts of Retirement Assets:
Naming the Tuscarawas County Public Library Foundation as a beneficiary of your retirement plan - such as IRA, Keogh, 401(k) and 403(b) - is an opportunity to avoid income and estate tax penalties while benefiting your Library System.
