Fall is in the air all around the county and the Tuscarawas County Library System will host Fall Festivals throughout the month of October.
“Each location will have their own fun event, so customers are able to choose whichever event works best for their family,” said the County Library’s Assistant Director Brian Herzog. “Depending upon which events you choose to attend, activities will include a chance to dress up, complete crafts, play games, or enjoy some special treats.”
Upcoming fall fun includes:
- Bolivar Fall Festival - October 8th from 5:30-7:30 PM at the Bolivar Branch (455 W. Water St.) Join us for the third annual glow-in-the-dark game room, crafts, and snacks. Costumes welcome!
- Fall Fun - October 9th at 5:00 PM at the Main Library (121 Fair Ave. NW.) Come to the Library for an evening of fall-themed crafts and activities.
- Art and Apple Cider - October 19th at 1:00 PM at the Main Library (121 Fair Ave. NW.) Join us for a fun-filled time of crafting and enjoying apple cider.
- Trick-or-Treat at the Library – October 29th from 5:30-7:30 PM at the Main Library (121 Fair Ave NW, New Phila). Walk along the pumpkin trail to enjoy candy, crafts, and activities that will spark your imagination.
- Trick-or-Treat in Tusky – October 31st from 5:30-7:30 PM at the Tuscarawas Branch (209 S. Main St.). Stop at the library during trick-or-treat for some special treats.
- Trick-or-Treat in Strasburg – October 31st from 6:00-7:30 PM at the Strasburg Branch (356 5th St. SW). Stop by the library for a craft, hot chocolate, and candy during the community trick-or-treat.
According to Herzog, all of these events are free of charge and open to all families across the county. Although the events are free, registration is required.
