Dover Titanic Mystery

The Tuscarawas County Public Library System will host local historian Noel Poirier on Thursday, April 18th at 6:30 PM at its Main Library. Poirier will discuss the Dover Titanic Mystery.

Tuscarawas County resident Joseph Fried had arranged third-class passage for two families on the Titanic. Michael Gorletz accompanied by his wife and Andre Goledin with his children were to board the ship bound for the United States. Did they survive the icy crash? Did they make it to the United States?

The County’s Main Library is located at 121 Fair Ave NW, New Philadelphia. Registration for this free program can be completed online at tusclibrary.org or by calling the Main Library at 330-364-4474.
