Read Your Socks Off Reading Challenge
Adults and teens in Tuscarawas County are encouraged to get reading in 2025 by participating in the Library’s new Read Your Socks Off Reading Challenge. Participants are challenged to read 25 books in 2025. Those who complete the challenge will receive a free pair of fun “Read Your Socks Off” socks.

Interested participants can download the Beanstack Tracker app on any smart phone or tablet, or by visiting tusclibrary.beanstack.org on the web. A paper version of the challenge will also be offered at each of the library system’s five locations.

The Read Your Socks Off Challenge begins January 1st, 2025, and runs through December 31st, 2025. Participants are only eligible to complete the challenge once. Socks are available while supplies last.

Code of Conduct

  1. Loud talking, profane language, fighting, and harassing behavior toward Library Customers or staff is not permitted in the library.
  2. Brandishing knives, firearms, or other weapons to threaten or intimidate others or using weapons in any manner deemed unsafe or which could reasonably result in personal injury or property damage is prohibited.
  3. Individuals using computers in the library may not send, receive, or display text or graphics that may reasonably be construed as obscene.
  4. There is to be no smoking, vaping, or use of snuff or chewing tobacco on library prope

The Tuscarawas County Public Library System (The Library) offers access to the Internet and other electronic resources and equipment as part of our mission to provide resources for learning and leisure that support, improve, and enrich individual, family, and community life. The Internet, as a global electronic network, enables individuals to search for ideas and information beyond the confines of the Library collection.

Print materials, music CDs, and audiobooks may be checked out for two weeks, Movies, games, hand-held, and consoles circulate for one week. 

Digital materials (including eBooks, audiobooks, magazines, comics, music, movies, and tv shows) may also be downloaded for free through Ohio Digital Library and Hoopla and do not accrue fines.
