Read Your Socks Off Reading Challenge
Adults and teens in Tuscarawas County are encouraged to get reading in 2025 by participating in the Library’s new Read Your Socks Off Reading Challenge. Participants are challenged to read 25 books in 2025. Those who complete the challenge will receive a free pair of fun “Read Your Socks Off” socks.

Interested participants can download the Beanstack Tracker app on any smart phone or tablet, or by visiting tusclibrary.beanstack.org on the web. A paper version of the challenge will also be offered at each of the library system’s five locations.

The Read Your Socks Off Challenge begins January 1st, 2025, and runs through December 31st, 2025. Participants are only eligible to complete the challenge once. Socks are available while supplies last.

Notary

Free notary service is available at all library locations when Notary staff is available. Appointments are preferred to ensure that we will have a notary available to serve you. We will do our best to accommodate walk-ins, but it is possible that a Notary staff will not be available.
Please read the Notary Policy carefully before scheduling or coming to the library for a Notary appointment.

Freedom to Read Statement

The freedom to read is essential to our democracy. It is continuously under attack. Private groups and public authorities in various parts of the country are working to remove or limit access to reading materials, to censor content in schools, to label "controversial" views, to distribute lists of "objectionable" books or authors, and to purge libraries.
