BTL Summer 2021 for website

2 ] www.tusclibrary.org Director’s Notes If it’s summer, then it’s time for Summer Reading at your County Library! Whether you or your family are vacationing or staying at home this year, you can participate in our Summer Reading Challenge by logging your reading and attending programs. This summer, we are pleased to offer both online and in-person programs for all ages. No matter your age, Summer Reading is fun and provides the opportunity to connect with others, to learn something new, to lose yourself in a good book, to research your family history, or to experiment with a new hobby. For students, Summer Reading goes beyond just having fun. Continuing to read and be engaged in active learning over the summer months can reduce summer learning loss and help kids be prepared to return to school in the fall. With added educational gaps due to the pandemic, youth participation in Summer Reading is more critical than ever. We invite you and your family to fill your summer with reading and fun activities with your Library. We can’t wait to connect with you!
