BTL Fall 2021

2 ] www.tusclibrary.org Director’s Notes I hope this edition of Between the Lines finds you doing well and reminiscing about the activities that you and your family enjoyed over the summer. Staff throughout our library system enjoyed seeing many of you as you visited our libraries and attended programs. As we look toward fall’s cooler temperatures and colorful leaves, we are excited to unveil our fall line-up of program offerings. We are equally pleased to provide support to area students, educators, and parents during the upcoming academic year. This fall, you will notice changes as we continue on our phased recovery since the pandemic. You will once again find your TCPL locations open with evening hours as we restore hours of operation across our five buildings. In addition, meeting spaces at Main and Bolivar will be available to reserve, and MakerSpace equipment will be returning to all locations. We are also excited to roll out a new service called Print-On-the-Go, which will allow customers to easily print a resume, a work report, or homework assignment while using their own device inside our library or from the comfort of their home. Popular curbside services that began due to the pandemic, will remain a part of how we continue to do business. While we are hopeful this fall will be different than last fall, no matter what the season brings we are committed to providing library services and programs in a safe and healthy way. Like other businesses and organizations, we have learned a lot about how to operate safely and how to pivot and adjust quickly when needed. We will continue to monitor the latest health guidelines and stand ready to adjust or adapt where necessary. Here at the TCPL, we believe we are in this together, and we look forward to continuing to serve your library needs this fall.
