Empower Tusc will host an educational program for parents and community members on November 14th at 6:30 p.m. at the Tuscarawas County Public Library System’s Main Library at 121 Fair Ave NW, New Philadelphia.

“We are happy to partner with Empower Tusc for this important program that will make parents and loved ones aware of warning signs of risky behavior in youth,” said Adult and Teen Services Manager Robyn Guedel.

Empower Tusc member Jodi Salvo will present an informative talk on the subject and provide information on what parents need to know about substance abuse, as well as tips for spotting use and abuse.

According to Guedel, community members will leave the program knowing how best to discuss these topics with their children and loved ones.

Registration is required for this event. If you would like to reserve a seat, please call 330-364-4474. For more information on upcoming programs at the library’s event calendar.
