It’s the 1949 Midwest Inventor’s Symposium and we are all invited for the final day of judging and the announcement of the winner of this year’s “Invention of the Year”! Emcee Dr. Grayson Genius has his hands full trying to keep the nominees in check as tempers flare and egos get out of hand. Is it professional jealousy, or are there more secrets adding fuel to the fire? Everyone knows winning isn’t everything…RIGHT? Ticketholders are encouraged to dress in 1940s costumes to add to the ambiance of the evening. Tickets can be purchased by cash, check, or card. Tickets purchased with a card will have a $3 per ticket transaction fee. All tickets are available at the Main Library. For more information call 330-364-4474 ext. 221.
Dinner, which is included with each ticket, will feature a buffet-style dinner from Kathy’s Catering and includes baked chicken, roast beef, seven-layer salad, broccoli salad, parsley potatoes, Johnny Marzetti, rolls, and four desserts.
