Cover to Cover: 2024 Reading Challenge
Adults and Teens in Tuscarawas County are encouraged to participate in the County Library’s Cover to Cover Reading Challenge. Participants are challenged to read 20 different books from specific genres throughout 2024. Those who complete the challenge will receive a free umbrella inscribed with the words “I’d Rather Be Reading.”

Interested participants can download the Beanstack Tracker app on any smartphone or tablet or visit tusclibrary.beanstack.org on the web. A paper version of the challenge will also be offered in the latest edition of Between the Lines – the library programming newsletter is delivered by mail to homes within the Library’s service district in Tuscarawas County.

Local author Mike Gunther will share his book Views from the Hot Seat. The book is a collection of 64 entries written from 2013 through 2022 and displayed in chronological order. Gunther shares his thoughts, opinions, and recollections focusing on a variety of topics including high school sports, education, childhood, occasional political observations, personal revelations, and more. The two objectives of his book and presentation are to entertain and encourage people to think.
