The Main Library of the Tuscarawas County Public Library System will host Trick or Treat @ your library on Tuesday, October 24th. Children and their families are invited to choose between 5:30 p.m., 6:30 p.m., and 7:00 p.m. sessions. Registration is required in advance so that library staff can prepare to “treat” all visitors. The Pumpkin Trail takes about 20 minutes to complete. Families are encouraged to bring their cameras as there will be plenty of opportunities for photos. Trick or Treat @ your library is an annual community event. Many of the stops have been “adopted” by area businesses. The event is a safe, family-friendly place for children to dress in costume and visit with some favorite game pieces.
This is a safe, indoor way to go trick or treating and get another wear out of your Halloween costume has become much anticipated by staff and area families alike,” said Kathryn Green, Children’s Services Manager. “We are so grateful to our local donors who help make this event special for the children each year.” Treat stops this year will feature memorable board games. Children can interact with game pieces while they receive candy, a sticker, sunglasses, pick an item from prize table, and more.
