Your Tuscarawas County Public Library wants to bring the library to you during the lunch hour with its Food for Thought Days @ your library.
Food for Thought Days @ your library will be held on the first 4 Wednesdays in May from 11a.m. – 1p.m. in the North Broadway parking lot of the Tuscarawas County Public Library System’s Main Library in New Philadelphia.
“Customers can purchase lunch from a local restaurant to enjoy with coworkers, friends, or family in our open-air library,” said Megan Kovalaske-Grimm, Public Relations Associate. “The series has had rave reviews and we are thrilled to be offering it again this spring.”
Staff will create an open-air library that will feature outdoor seating, as well as an opportunity to get a library card, to have gadget questions answered by our Emerging Technology Associate Virginia Wright or to checkout new and popular materials.
“This is a great opportunity to take a break from work or school, meet up with family or friends, enjoy great food, and connect with your local library,” said Director Michelle McMorrow Ramsell.
Vendors for the Food for Thought Days @ your library include:
- May 3: Benson’s Market & Catering
- May 10: Bahler Street Pizza
- May 17: Three Lil Piggies BBQ
- May 24: Scheonbrunn Conference Center Catering
“Lunch is on rain or shine,” said Kovalaske-Grimm. “In the event of rain, we will move the festivities into our garage.”
